Nerve Whiz App Reviews

AMAZING!!!!

Im a medical student and its difficult to memorize all the nerves, their roots and the muscles they innervate. This app is an excellent resource to look stuff u on the fly!

Freezing

App freezes every time I click on "diagram"

incredibly useful

an incredible free resource. serves as both a thoughtfully designed reference of peripheral nervous system function and an ingenious tool for localizing peripheral nervous system pathology. the sensory and muscle localizers are particularly helpful tools - both are designed to allow you to easily take readily available clinical information and figure out which portion of the nervous system is the culprit. on top of its obvious utility, its also a very well-designed and well thought out application. its incredible that they managed to convey so much information on a device so tiny.

Wow

So many apps in the Medical category on the app store are garbage, or not even vaguely intended for medical professionals. This app is fantastic and its free. Other disease foundations should take notice; please fund more educational resources like this!

A Great Resource

I wish I had this in medical school.

Better than a planet full of supercomputers

I havent even used this yet, but I dropped out of med school because I realized that Nerve Whiz will make human doctors unnecessary.

Fantastic

Would be a great application for any year medical student. So much information in a great format. Well done!

Good

Good but wish it had more pictures.

Physiatrists Opinion

I am a Physiatrist and boarded in EMG. So looking at this is pretty good. It would be useful for Neurologist and Physiatrist. Useful for a first year medical school student. Not useful for the general lay person.

If peripheral nerve tutorials were famous mice, this would be Mickey, Minnie, and Fievel all in one.

We were in search of the fabled Isle of Lees when the first of the storms hit. She rushed up oer the stern like the lash of a whip. William wasnt moren 12, and on his first voyage. He was stone face-ed as the wind ripped the jib off of her moorings. I think, looking back, he was atryin to show the men how brave he was. As it were, he only showed em how young he really was. Them whod been around, see, looked aghast. This is a good app about the peripheral nervous system.

Great but missing something...

This app is great but the poor Medial Brachial Cutaneous nerve has been neglected. Sad

Great app

Very useful reference.

Very useful app for medical students!

Once you know how to use it, you can quickly determine the nerve/dermatome involved and diagnose based on exam findings. Thanks for the very useful app. Great reference/learning tool. Helps me look like a genius on the wards.

Great!

Just please add one thing: innervation of the abdominal wall muscles. TY

Nice program but one correction needed(thus far)

Ive just started checking out the program and its a great recap for me with clinical relevance. One thing, the biceps brachii long head also flexes the shoulder

Fantastic!

Im an occupational therapy student and this app is proving to be an extremely useful tool for studying manual muscle testing. Awesome!

Love it

Theres nothing like this out there... not just in the iPhone app store, but anywhere. This app is a two-headed monster. It teaches peripheral nervous system anatomy, and it solves localization problems for you. I would recommend this for neurologists, physiatrists, primary care doctors, and med students.

Just right

Nice and straightforward, easy to use as an overview of the anatomy, and useful for busy clinicians, nurses and other providers.

Godsend of an app

Pretty much surviving anatomy because of this app! It takes a massive amount of information and presents it in every way you may need to know it- sorting by muscle action, groups of muscles innervated by any nerve, branch, cord, trunk, you name it! Makes studying much more efficient and comprehensive. Cant say thank you enough!!

Great but charts dont fit.

Very helpful but designed for large screen yet its not universal. Please make an iPad version so we dont have to keep swiping fingers right and left.
